ack 32aa47d41c Windows is installed through WSL; the native Windows build is withdrawn (from dev a9756dac74c6)
Klammertext on Windows is the Linux build inside WSL 2, or the prebuilt
containers through Docker Desktop. The native build from source (MSYS2) is
no longer offered:

- doc/install/windows_source_install.md and the bundled shell under win/
  are removed.
- doc/install/windows_wsl_install.md is the Windows page. It says there is
no native build, and its editor section says what holds for each editor:
Emacs, Vim and Visual Studio Code (through its WSL extension) as on
Linux; Sublime Text and Notepad++ on the Windows side, with their
self-contained packages, on files opened through \\wsl.localhost.
- The README lists six install guides; the Notepad++ and VS Code READMEs
no longer refer to the MSYS2 shell.

No change to the language, the Standard Klammer Set or the commands.

ack ee8bcf5300 Windows: product names, the editors, WSL; the Linux page's image step
Assembled from development commit c3c40f6c8fca. Since 830b193: on Windows the
products carry Windows names (ktext.exe, klammertext.dll, document.dll,
reflect.dll) and the console's output code page is UTF-8 for a run; the
editor tooling works on Windows (VS Code, Sublime Text, Vim, with the
interpreter's name chosen by platform) and Notepad++ joins it
(doc/edit/notepadpp: a User Defined Language and two Run-menu commands);
a sixth install page, doc/install/windows_wsl_install.md, for Linux
inside WSL; the Windows page opens with the three routes and gains its
editor section, the PowerShell quoting and Path notes; the Linux page
installs OpenImageIO from the python3-openimageio package and verifies
with kdiag --machine; the README lists all six install pages. Linux and
macOS behaviour is unchanged.

ack 37b6ba1c4f Verbatim-safe typography, ^-punctuation quoting, full-range ^UUUU^, polyglot html
Typographic transforms (---, quote pairs, ~) no longer touch verbatim
text: @c/@code/@source_listing content and ^'...'^ spans show exactly the
characters written. "^" before any punctuation character quotes it in
every target (the apostrophe excepted: ^' opens a literal span), with the
new :resolve option on @@@target declaring per-target renderings. The
^UUUU^ code-point form accepts 4-6 hex digits, the full Unicode range.
The html output and transform spellings are polyglot (XML-valid), in
preparation for an EPUB target. New suites: transform_test, character_test
(engine), typography_test (SKS).

ackandClaude Fable 5 2eb16791d2 VS Code extension installs via a hand-built .vsix (from dev 83e472a96e36)
Folder copies into ~/.vscode/extensions no longer load in modern VS Code;
make_vsix.sh packages the extension (bash + python3 only) and the README
installs it with `code --install-extension`.

ackandClaude Fable 5 f855c5ccae Editor support generalized: shared core, language server, Vim and VS Code (from dev eb5baf9cbe59)
doc/edit/ now holds a shared Python implementation of the language's
structural layer (klammertext_edit.py) and a dependency-free language
server (klammertext_ls.py), with integrations for Emacs, Sublime Text,
Vim, and Visual Studio Code. The editor test suite in tst/ covers the
core's API and CLI, the language server protocol, the VS Code
extension, headless Vim, and Emacs byte-equality.
